The Northwestern 5th graders have been participating in the D.A.R.E program with Deputy Josh Boeger since September. They learned about the dangers of using drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. The class was assigned a D.A.R.E essay at the end of the course. Anna Thompson received 1st place. Abby Ostermann, Tyler Robinson, Anna Thompson, and Taylor Truesdell were all chosen to receive the citizenship award. Taylor Truesdell, with assistance from Mrs. Dysart, performed a skit which presented ways to say "NO". Deputy Boeger offers a wonderful program every year for our 5th graders and we are extremely thankful!
