The Northwestern 5th graders have been participating in the D.A.R.E program with Deputy Josh Boeger since September. They learned about drugs, alcohol, and tobacco and the dangers of using them. The class was assigned a D.A.R.E essay at the end of the course. Emma Meyer received 1st place and Gracie Buck received 2nd place. Sophia Speichinger received the citizenship award for this class, which is picked by Deputy Boeger and other staff members. Deputy Boeger offers a wonderful program every year for our 5th graders and we are extremely thankful for that!
